This powerful message confronts us with an uncomfortable truth: our biggest problem isn't actually our problem—it's that we can't see our problem clearly. Just as aging eyes eventually need reading glasses to see what's right in front of us, we need spiritual clarity to understand ourselves and our future. Drawing from John 13-14, we encounter Jesus in the upper room with His disciples, where He lovingly helps clear their vision in two critical areas. First, He helps us see ourselves honestly—illustrated beautifully through Peter's overconfident declaration that he would lay down his life for Jesus, only to be gently corrected with the prediction of his three denials. We've all been surprised by our own actions, whether it's road rage with kids in the car or pride over our parenting skills before reality hits. The courageous prayer becomes: 'Jesus, help me see myself more clearly.' Second, Jesus clears our vision of the future by revealing He's preparing a home for us—using intimate first-century wedding imagery where the groom builds a dwelling place before returning for his bride. We are spiritually homeless until we return to the garden relationship God intended. Jesus declares Himself as the way, the truth, and the life—not a way among many, but the only way home. The breathtaking beauty of the gospel is that entrance requires knowing just two things: I'm a sinner, and He's the Savior. We are more sinful than we dare consider, yet more loved than we dare hope.Chapter 1: The Problem of Not Seeing ClearlyWe explore how our inability to see our own problems clearly is often our biggest problem, and how Jesus wants to help us see ourselves and our future with clarity.Chapter 2: Seeing Ourselves Through Jesus' EyesWe examine Peter's denial and learn that Jesus sees us more clearly than we see ourselves, yet still loves us completely.Chapter 3: Our Future Home in JesusWe learn that spiritual homelessness began in the Garden of Eden, and Jesus is preparing a place for us to return home.Chapter 4: Jesus: The Only Way HomeWe confront Jesus' exclusive claim that He is the only way to the Father, understanding that salvation comes through relationship, truth, and life in Him alone.Chapter 5: Public Declarations of FaithWe celebrate multiple baptisms as individuals publicly declare their faith in Jesus and their decision to follow Him for the rest of their lives.

In this powerful exploration of servanthood by Pastor Eric Creekmore, we delve into John 13, where Jesus washes His disciples' feet. This act of humble service isn't just about cleanliness—it's a profound symbol of spiritual cleansing and the transformative power of Christ's love. We're reminded that only Jesus can truly make us clean, washing away our sins in a way we could never accomplish on our own. This message challenges us to examine our own hearts: Are we serving others with pure motives, or are we secretly keeping score? By fixing our eyes on Jesus and His ultimate act of service on the cross, we can learn to serve others selflessly, even those who may seem undeserving. As we internalize this lesson, we're called to pray for a servant's heart and actively look for opportunities to serve, knowing that in doing so, we're not just serving others, but serving Christ Himself.Chapter 1: The Secret Point System and Jesus' ExampleIntroduction to the concept of service through a humorous analogy and Jesus washing the disciples' feet.Chapter 2: Jesus Serves Us by Saving UsJesus' act of washing the disciples' feet as a symbol of spiritual cleansing.Chapter 3: Serving Others as Jesus Served UsThe call to serve others as Jesus served us, and how to overcome our mixed motives.Chapter 4: Serving Our Enemies and Growing in ServiceThe ultimate challenge of serving our enemies and practical steps for growing in service.
